what an awesome time we had had! Lots of fun, food, and a sharing of love and hope this Christmas!

Event coming up: Fun At East Coast

hey guys! We're gonna have our next event in Goldkist Beach Resort in East Coast. It's not really an event, just a very relaxing thing where everyone chill and unwind after all the busy and stressful exams. And what's greater than that when there's food and games provided and cost only at $2 per person! So if you are a teenager whose age is between 12 to 22, come on down and join us as we welcome the advent season of Christmas!

YEP Yun Nan 2008

Hi guys!

Late last month to early this month, my school, together with other campuses and the National youth Council, jointly organised a Community Service to Yun Nan, China. The objective is to help ex-lepers who are living in a village to build a 200m road to improve the road condition.

The trip was 2 and a half weeks. There were many first-times for both my team mates and I. Things like cutting grass with a spade, pushing vehicles up slope, being a chef assistant, washing clothes and drying them, feeding pigs, carrying sand and rocks for 8 consecutive hours each day, and many more. Throughout this trip, I have learnt a lot of things. Good things and bad ones.

No one really know about this but it was difficult for me at that time because it was my first time leaving my family and loved ones for so long, especially my beloved grandmother who just had an operation on her knee few weeks before the trip. Everytime I called my grandmother, I couldn't hold back my tears. And to prevent my team mates from seeing me cry, I'll hide in a corner while on the phone. It was pretty emotional during this period of time but after each call, I'll try to present myself as if nothing has happened so that no one knows about it.

During this time where no one was with me, God is the only person whom I lean to and called onto whenever I am vex over some issues or worried for some stuff, and it was through this kind of desperate conditions that I learnt to trust Him more and more each day. And the greatest encouragement was that the entire villagers are Christians. And the way they treated us totally reflected how Christ loves us when He died on the cross to save us from our sins, showing us such pure and perfect love. My host (house owner who allowed my group to stay in her house) taught me how to wash clothes for the first time in my life, not washing machine, but manually. Indeed God has been gracious to me.

My Superhero!

Carpenter Tool's International came to Singapore for a concert at the DBS Auditorium near Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. Before that, they went to several schools to publicise for it. JCs, ITEs, and secondary schools. More than 400 youngsters turned up. It was a blast! The theme of the concert was Superhero.

Have you ever felt that you just cant do a certain something in life. Something that your friends can do it somehow but u cant. OR you are just lazy and cant be bothered- You Give Up. Well. I do. In the subject MATHS.

I try in the recent weeks to buck up on it. Because promos are coming and my A level H1 Math exam is this year. I go for tuition, i try doing stuff in maths class. I ask as I want to learn and improve. But till now, my efforts seems futile. It seems like nobody understand the situation im in. I've been scoring zeros. Meaning that i have totally ZERO knowledge about H1 math. And i mean it. I feel bad. All I want now is to reach for an E grade(minimum pass) but no matter how i stretch my hand, the goal seems so so so far away. My hand was already tired by then.

I went for tution today. It was no use. Just like the previous tution sessions. Whatever the tuition teacher taught, im totally blurred out. I dont understand. A little maybe, but when it comes to doing questions... ... ... I cant do it. Even the basics one. I am tired. I wana give up. Math seems way out of my league. However i try to understand it, it just cannot get into my head. I was feeling depressed when i went out. I escaped tuition halfway btw. =="

I tried calling my best friend. She didnt pick up. I tried calling my dad. He didnt pick up. Never mind. Suddenly, i thought of praying to my father in heaven. And i did. It relieve me of the sadness and burden in my heart. Why didnt i think of it? The first person you can ALWAYS turn to is your father in heaven. After that, i automatically switch my mp3 to christian songs. Before that i was listening to a japanese emotional song. haha. I then listen to the song Voice of truth.

I know there are consequences to sin. I have been sleeping in math lesson throughout last year. This year as well. What right do i have to ask GOD to grant me good grades, when even till now i put in minimal effort. BUT. I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE. I want to do the right thing starting from now. I want to work harder than i never did before. And i know im not alone. My Father in heaven is with me, so are my friends and my family. I will do it and leave the rest to GOD. Of course, it is not going to be easy. But i have my family and friends to lean on. I love u people(: And i know. You love me too. Oh. If you are thinking whose the one who post this. You should know by the long paragraphs of words. haha!

Hi guys! It's been sometime since the Amazing Race Sentosa! Have been collecting photos from the photographers on that day that explains the delay in updating this blog and the event!

The day started with a few games at Siloso Beach. The sun was extremely hot but many survived, except for a few.

At about 1145 hrs, the race was flagged off and all the teams set off to the ends of Sentosa.

The Team then shifted the location to Palawan Beach where we set up the Ending Point. At around 1600 hrs, all the teams have returned. Some rested, some chit chatting, some playing in the sea. Then the day ended with a small sharing session and prize presentation!

We're proud to announce the winning team! They're none other than:-

THE Amazing Race Team went to Sentosa for a recee and trial run of the game and it was absolutely, fantastically, and ultimately FUN! What more can I say! I can't imagine how FUN it will be on the actual! Just to whet your appetite, I'll release some photos on the trip!
